Meet Our Team
We are a group of volunteers who share the desire to help grieving families!
In 2013, Erica and her husband knew they wanted a sibling for their (then) one year old daughter. Fertility treatment was very familiar to them and after the first round the news of triplets soon followed. In 2014, at 20 weeks, their Little Joys, Fallon, Ruby, and Jack, entered the world and passed shortly after birth. Eager to give their daughter a living sibling, Erica and her husband entered the fertility clinic six months later resulting in their son, now 3.
Her background in Psychology led her to ask many questions and try to understand the space in which she could make a difference from an emotional standpoint. Erica feels strongly that a CuddleCot is the tool that can bring a little comfort to a family during their final goodbyes. |
Jake and his wife struggled for 6 years before In Vitro Fertilization gave them their first pregnancy in 2014. But, an unknown umbilical cord accident at 32 weeks stripped them of a life with their Little Joy, Addison. With a raw heart and heavy emotions, another 2 IVF cycles provided Jake and his wife a beautiful set of twins who are now one year old.
As an entrepreneur with several successful businesses, Jake brings a unique viewpoint and strong desire to bring hope and love to those struggling. His passion is working hand-in-hand with hospital staff to ensure all families receive the highest level of bereavement support. |
oJana and her husband became parents for the first time when their Little Joy, Carson, was born in 2007. A perfectly normal pregnancy ended at 33.5 weeks with the shocking words "he has no heartbeat". With the strong desire to have a family, Jana and her husband welcomed a daughter, now 9, and a son, now 8.
As a busy mom and part time educator in a special needs classroom, Jana brings lots of love and support to grieving families. The Hahn family has been providing bereavement packets called Carson's Gift to Saint Alphonsus Hospital in Boise for nearly ten years. Her knowledge and genuine passion to help hurting families permeates into our remembrance events and fundraising strategies. |
